Dr. Lown received an undergraduate degree from Aquinas College and earned his medical degree from Kansas City University-College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. in 1994.

Dr. Lown is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Outside the office, he enjoys reading, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with his family. Dr. Lown and his wife have 3 children.
